Workplace relations assistance
Andrew Maher is retained by AMSRO to provide the Association and members with legal assistance and advice on workplace and industrial relations matters.
Andrew is a partner at HR Legal, a specialist workplace relations and workplace safety law firm based in Melbourne, and has been AMSRO’s Workplace Relations Advisor since 2004. He has over a decade’s experience both working in the Market and Social Research Industry and providing legal services to AMSRO and employers across the industry nationally.
Andrew and the team at HR Legal are able to assist AMSRO members with queries about the operation or interpretation of the Industry Agreement. They can also assist with workplace relations issues including:
- Termination of Employment and Redundancy
- Bullying, Equal Opportunity and OHS (including providing workplace training in these areas)
- Executive Employment Contracts and Post-Employment Restraints of Trade
- Any union related issues or queries
Each AMSRO member business is entitled to two hours* of free legal advice and assistance from Andrew and HR Legal each financial year.
